YMCA CAMP GREENVILLE
YMCA Camp Greenville is a resident camp and environmental education center – located in the northernmost part of Greenville County – situated on 1,400 acres high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camp Greenville began in 1912 as a summer camp for boys and became co-ed in 1993. Summer months offer classic camp activities designed for kids 7-17 years old – such as lake swimming, canoeing, target sports, hiking, horseback riding and ropes courses. When summer camp is not in session, the fall and spring months offer programs for at-risk youth, budding artists, corporate team building and group camping. In 2012, Camp Greenville will celebrate its centennial…a century of shaping lives and helping individuals reach their full potential.
